Although centred in London, the message of The School is universal.  This leads us to engage with communities around the world with the mutual objective of the renewal of the arts and crafts traditions.  Working together, programmes and curricula are established to train future craftspeople and teachers. The sharing of this knowledge, as relevant today as it has ever been, fosters a degree of understanding between people of different backgrounds exposing the nature of our shared humanity.

We aim to create self-sustaining communities so that practical skills, together with an awareness of the meaning underlying the practice of the traditional arts, may be passed on to young people and future generations.
