We offer the Jameel scholarship scheme for full-time UK and EEC MA students.
The Jameel Gallery Scholarship
The Jameel Gallery Scholarship donated by Mr Mohammed Abdul Latif Jameel is open to students who have been offered a place studying on our MA course.
These scholars will have a special link with the Jameel Gallery at the Victoria & Albert Museum, established in the memory of the parents of Mr Mohammed Jameel.
Inspiration for the MA work is expected to come from the collection in the Jameel Gallery.

Painting & Patronage Scholarship
The Painting & Patronage Programme, under the joint Presidency of HRH The Prince of Wales and HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of Makkah Province, aims to build bridges of artistic and educational understanding between the Arab world and Europe to establish a deeper understanding of each other’s distinct and diverse cultures and traditions. It further aims to build on the first P&P programme launched during 2000-2001 by the Presidents of PSTA and P&P.
This scholarship is a one year award open to students of Saudi Arabian nationality who wish to join the postgraduate programme at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts.

Nikos Sofialakis Scholarship
The Nikos Sofialakis Scholarship Award is an annual monetary award established by Vice Admiral Georgios Chraniotis, founder of the Nikos Sofialakis Center of Neoclassical Sculpture, in honor of the Greek sculptor, Nikos Sofialakis. The purpose of this award will be to support the dual concepts of Apprenticeship and Scholarship, as experienced by the artist himself during his lifetime, and above all in furtherance of such educational efforts to promote the traditional arts, which the artist himself held in high regard.
This scholarship is open to those who have been offered a place or are already enrolled as a student of the Icon and Wall Painting Diploma.
The committee’s decision will be influenced by the following criteria:
1. The applicant’s financial need.
2. Their commitment to practising iconography after the completion of the diploma.
3. Aptitude for icon painting they have shown to date.
The grant is offered for one year. Recipients will need to re-apply along with other applicants in subsequent years.
