Victoria and Albert Museum
Throughout the past few years, staff and alumni of The Prince’s School have been asked to conduct workshops at the Victoria & Albert Museum, particularly in conjunction with the opening of the new Jameel Gallery of Islamic Art at the Museum.
The workshops have varied, from basic instruction in learning, drawing specimen patterns from the Museum’s collection using compasses and a straight edge, to themed weekends exploring the traditional art and culture of Turkey and Iran.
The School has also participated in exhibitions aimed at engaging the general public and promoting awareness of the contemporary relevance of traditional art and craft.
