Improve your Sumi-e techniques and deepen your spiritual understanding through exercises to develop the learning in Part 1 of this course. Complete several paintings and gain confidence to continue at home.

Takumasa Ono is a Japanese artist who employs traditional ink painting techniques. His book The Simple Art of Sumi-e was published in 2005 and he was commissioned to produce major work for the Millennium Centre, Cardiff in 2008.
